Event settlement software

Event settlement software,
signed by both sides.

Event settlement software should close the night on numbers everyone already has: the deal terms, the box office counts, the costs each side brought, and two signatures that lock it. GigOps does that for tours, promoters, venues and festivals, on one shared page.

Two-party settlement, signed and locked

What a settlement runs on

The night’s money, from the deal to the books.

The deal math, done.

Set the deal terms and GigOps works the split for guarantee, versus, percentage, flat rent, four-wall, co-pro and door deals, in the deal’s own currency. You read what is still open, then lock it and it becomes the official record.

Counts from the box office, not off a PDF.

The ticket numbers come from the counts already in GigOps: a venue or promoter reports them on the booking, a count feed fills them in, or a box office wrap is dropped in and read. One count per show, never added twice.

Both sides add their lines.

The venue’s usual terms fill in when the date is confirmed, the tour’s budget lines come straight in, and the promoter brings the room and the marketing. Each side accepts the other’s lines and keeps private lines the other never sees.

Two signatures lock it.

Two signatures lock the settlement, and the locked settlement is sealed with GigOps Sign as a PDF with a QR code on every page. Anyone holding the signed copy can check it, with no account.

A show that settles on its own.

When the other company is not on GigOps, you still settle the show against its counts and costs, lock it and send it out for signature. Signers need no account and pay nothing.

Merch, settled per room.

The count sheet takes the opening count, what sold and the closing count, applies the venue’s soft and hard goods rates, and gives the net to the artist. Settling the show writes the closing counts back to stock.

Straight into the books.

Locked settlements go to your QuickBooks Online as journal entries on their own, and approved costs as bills. Export to QuickBooks Desktop or a spreadsheet if that is what your accountant runs.

The season, on one page.

Profit and loss by show, committed spend by category and variance against plan, for a quarter or a year. Budget, settlement, payroll and the CFO view all export.

How it works

Terms, counts, signatures.

  1. 01 Set the deal terms. Agree the guarantee, versus, after-cost split and promoter fee with the other side in one place, or send them out as a deal memo.
  2. 02 Pull in the counts and the costs. The box office counts land from the booking, the count feed or the wrap, and each side adds its lines.
  3. 03 Lock it and sign. Two signatures lock the settlement, everyone gets the sealed PDF when the last person signs, and it posts to your QuickBooks Online.

Who it is for

The same money, from each side.

Tours settle each show against its counts and costs in TourOps. Promoters settle with the tour in PromoterOps, bringing the room and the marketing, and read the season roll up by market. Venues settle with the tours that book them in VenueOps, with their usual terms filled in. Festivals and action sports events run the event P&L in FestivalOps and ActionOps. Settlement comes with every product, and when two of them meet on a show, both sides settle it together. Each company sees only its own part, and each pays for its own seats.

Questions

Before you settle the next show on GigOps.

What does settlement software cost?
$39 per user / month for the people who change things. View only seats are $0. Crew are always free. 7-day free trial. Settlement comes with every product, and the people who only sign a settlement you send pay nothing.
Where do the ticket counts in a show settlement come from?
From the counts already in GigOps. A venue or promoter on GigOps reports them on the booking, a count feed fills them in, or a box office wrap is dropped in and read. The settlement works the split from those, so nobody retypes a number off a PDF.
Can the promoter and the tour sign the same settlement?
Yes. When both companies are on GigOps, you settle the same show together: each side adds its lines, accepts the other’s, and two signatures lock it. Each reads the same sealed copy from its own side, and your internal lines stay yours. Disputing a line posts the note to the booking’s thread.
Does settlement software connect to QuickBooks?
Yes, at no extra cost. Connect your QuickBooks Online once, and locked settlements go across as journal entries and approved budget lines as bills. Import your chart of accounts from QuickBooks or Xero, or export to QuickBooks Desktop or a spreadsheet.
Does it handle tour merch settlement too?
Yes, in TourOps, FestivalOps and ActionOps. Every show gets a merch settlement with its count sheet, the venue’s fee and the net to the artist, and sales can come from your own Square account rather than from a pad. Merch income goes to the budget as a line.
