Analytics

Analytics is a year of your book at a glance: sell-through by room, genre and Market, what settled shows left you, marketing per ticket, how your offers did, and the on-sale pace of each show. In the left menu, under Money, choose Analytics. Analytics is part of PromoterOps only, and it reads your data without changing anything.

How do I change the year or the Market in Analytics?

  1. In the left menu, under Money, choose Analytics.
  2. Use the arrows on either side of the year to step back or forward a year.
  3. When you have more than one Market, pick one from All Markets to see only that Market.

The year and the Market apply to everything on the page. If the year you picked has no shows, Analytics tells you which years do.

What do the tiles at the top of Analytics mean?

How do I see sell-through by room, genre or Market?

In Analytics, go to Sell-through and choose By room, By genre or By Market. Each row shows the shows, tickets sold, sellable, sell-through and gross. Played and settled shows count as final; shows on sale count to date.

A show's genre is set on the show, or comes from the offer that booked it. Shows with no genre are grouped together.

What does the On-sale pace chart in Analytics show?

On-sale pace draws one small chart per show that keeps daily wraps: the share of its sellable sold, day by day, from the on-sale date to the show. The thin diagonal line is an even pace to a sellout, so a curve under it is behind. Each card has a pace tag (On track, Behind pace or Sold out).

Hover over a chart (or focus it and use the arrow keys) to read each day. Open The wraps as a table under a chart to see the numbers. A show needs at least two daily wraps, entered in Counts, before it gets a chart.

What does "Settled shows" show in Analytics?

Settled shows lists each show settled in the year: its date, gross, what you kept (your share of the net, less anything you absorbed on a promoter link) and that as a share of gross. The last row is the average kept. A show counts here once its settlement is locked. Shows settled on a promoter link are marked "settled on the promoter link".

How is "Marketing per ticket" worked out in Analytics?

Each show's own marketing buys are divided by its tickets sold, next to its advertising budget. The year's figure divides everything spent, including buys across a whole Market, by every ticket sold. Spend comes from Marketing; tickets come from Counts and Ticketing.

What does the Offers section in Analytics show?

Offers covers offers for dates in the year: how many are out now, accepted, declined, lapsed, withdrawn and still drafts. "Taken" is accepted out of accepted, declined and lapsed; withdrawn ones and those still out are not counted. It also shows how many days agents took to answer on average, and how each deal type did.

Why is a section missing from my Analytics?

Analytics only draws the sections your access lets you read. For example, someone without access to Settlement does not see Settled shows, and someone without Marketing does not see Marketing per ticket. Ops and Coordinator seats do not see Analytics at all by default, because it is money and sales. A Company Admin can change this for one person in their access settings.

Why does Analytics say there is no FX rate?

Analytics shows money in dollars at your FX rates. When an amount is in a currency with no rate, Analytics counts it as dollars and says so at the bottom of the page. Add the rate under FX rates in the left menu, under Money.

Can I change anything in Analytics?

No. Analytics only reads your shows, counts, settlements, marketing and offers. To change a number, change it where it comes from: the show, Counts, Settlement, Marketing or Offers.
