Festival
Lineup
The Lineup is your festival's run of acts: the stages, and who plays each stage at what time on each festival day. In the left menu, under Festival, choose Lineup. It belongs to FestivalOps (in ActionOps the same screen is called Comp schedule, stages are Courses and each slot is a comp). Owners, admins, managers, ops and coordinators can edit it; Finance, Legal and View only seats do not see it unless a Company Admin gives them access.
How do I open the lineup for the right festival?
- At the top of the left menu, under Festivals, pick the festival you are working on.
- In the left menu, under Festival, choose Lineup.
The heading under Lineup names the festival. If you see "Select a festival first", no festival is picked yet.
How do I add a stage?
- In Lineup, choose Manage stages (or Add a stage on an empty lineup).
- Type the Stage name (for example "Main Stage").
- Pick a Color. Set times on that stage are marked with it.
- Add Notes if you like.
- Choose Create stage.
The stage appears as a chip in the bar at the top of the lineup, and as a column on every festival day.
How do I rename, recolor or delete a stage?
- In the stage bar at the top of Lineup, choose the pencil next to the stage name.
- Change the Stage name, Color or Notes and choose Save.
To delete a stage, choose the small x next to its name (or Delete inside the stage form) and confirm. Its set times are kept: they move to an Unassigned column on their day until you give them another stage.
How do I add a set time?
- In Lineup, choose Add set time.
- Pick the Day.
- Type the Act / artist and pick the Stage.
- Set Start and End.
- Add a Label / notes if you like (for example "Headline set").
- Choose Add.
You need either an act or a stage. If you see "Add a festival day first", the festival has no days yet: add its days, then come back.
How do I change or remove a set time?
- In Lineup, choose the set time card on its day and stage.
- Change any field and choose Save.
To remove it, open the card, choose Delete and confirm "Remove this set time?". Removing a set time also takes the act off the Advances board.
How is the lineup laid out?
Each festival day is a heading, with one column per stage under it. Cards in a column run in start-time order and show the time (or TBA with no start time), the act and its label. A set time with no stage sits in an Unassigned column. The day heading shows the day's label from the festival schedule and its city.
How does the lineup connect to Advances?
Every set time with an act appears on the Advances board, grouped by day, so you can advance each act: contacts, arrival, soundcheck, input list, rider and production. Add the act on the Lineup first, then open Advances to work its advance or invite the act to advance with you on GigOps. See the Advances help for the steps.
Why can't I edit the lineup?
Editing stages and set times is limited to owner, admin, manager, ops and coordinator roles. Finance, Legal and View only seats can read it at most, and only when a Company Admin turns the module on for them in their access settings. If the buttons are missing, ask a Company Admin to check your access to Lineup.
What changes in ActionOps?
In ActionOps the screen is Comp schedule: Manage courses sets up each course (with a course type, surface, spectator capacity, wind and visibility hold thresholds and a site map pin), and Add comp adds a competition instead of a set time. Choosing a comp card opens the comp, with its round, field size and status. When broadcast windows exist, a Broadcast windows tick shows each day's windows above the courses.
