GigOps Vendor

GigOps Vendor is where an outside business (backline, catering, staging, security, trucking and so on) lists itself in the GigOps vendor marketplace and answers requests from companies. It is free to list, has its own sign-in at the GigOps Vendor address, and needs no GigOps company. Once the GigOps team approves a listing, tours, festivals, venues, promoters and action sports events on GigOps can find it in Vendors > Marketplace (the marketplace is not part of CoralOps).

How does a vendor list their business?

  1. Open GigOps Vendor and choose List your business for free.
  2. Fill in Business name, Your name, Work email and a Password of at least 8 characters.
  3. Tick the box to agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
  4. Choose Create account.
  5. Open the confirmation link GigOps emails you (it expires in 24 hours). If it does not arrive, choose Send the link again.

You land on the Listing tab with a draft listing to fill in.

I was invited by email. How do I sign up?

Open the link in the invitation. The sign-up form opens with your address filled in, and because the invitation came to that address there is no confirmation email to wait for. To use another address, choose Use a different email (you then confirm that one by email). The same invitation email also has an unsubscribe link if you do not want to be contacted again.

What do I need to fill in before my listing can go live?

The Checklist beside the form shows what is still missing. Required:

Optional but useful: a logo, a Tagline and your Website. Tap a checklist line to jump to its field. The Preview shows the card companies see in the marketplace as you type.

How do I edit my listing?

  1. Open the Listing tab.
  2. Change any field: Business, What you do (up to the shown number of categories, plus Services and equipment and Past clients and events), Who you work with, Where you work (Base city, State or region, Country, How far you go, Regions you cover), Contact and Insurance.
  3. Choose Save changes in the bar at the bottom, or Discard to throw the edits away.

On a live listing your edits go live straight away, except a new Business name: that sends the listing back for review, and it leaves the marketplace until the GigOps team approves it again.

On the Listing tab, under Logo, choose Upload logo (or Replace logo) and pick a PNG, JPEG or WebP image. Square works best; GigOps resizes it for you. The logo saves on its own, without Save changes. Remove takes it off.

How do I send my listing for review?

When the checklist is complete, choose Send for review in the banner at the top of the Listing tab. The banner then says Waiting for review. You can keep editing while you wait, or choose Take it back to make it a draft again. GigOps emails you when the listing is live.

What do the listing statuses mean?

How do I pause or resume my listing?

On a live listing, choose Pause listing in the banner on the Listing tab and confirm. Companies will not find you until you choose Resume listing. Requests that are already open stay open and you can still answer them.

How do I answer a request from a company?

  1. Open the Requests tab. A number on the tab shows unread requests.
  2. Choose a request. It shows who sent it, the event, dates, location and budget, and the messages so far.
  3. Type in Reply (an answer, a quote or your questions).
  4. Choose Send reply.

The company gets your reply in GigOps and by email. New requests also go to your listing's Contact email. The Email button (with the person's name) opens your own email app addressed to them. All requests takes you back to the list.

How do I archive a request?

Open the request and choose Archive. Use Open and Archived at the top of the Requests tab to switch between the lists, and Move to open to bring an archived request back. If the company closed the request, it says "Closed by the company" and takes no more replies.

How do I change my name or password?

Open the Account tab. Under You, change Your name and choose Save name. Under Password, type your Current password, a New password and Confirm, then choose Change password; this signs you out everywhere else. To change your sign-in email or delete your listing and account, email GigOps support from your sign-in address.

I forgot my vendor password. What do I do?

On the GigOps Vendor sign-in screen, choose Forgot your password?, type the email you signed up with and choose Send reset link. Open the link, type a New password twice and choose Save and sign in. This signs you out everywhere else.

How do companies find and contact vendors?

Company Users find listed vendors in the web app under Vendors > Marketplace. From there they can send a quote request, which arrives in the vendor's Requests tab, and copy the vendor into their own vendor lists. Only approved listings that are not paused appear.
