Schedule
The Schedule module is one calendar of everything happening across the shows on the open tour (or festival, event or market): run-of-show items, catering services and crew travel. In the left menu, under Plan, choose Schedule. It is a read-only overview: you add and change schedule items inside each show, in its Schedule section.
How do I change between month, week and day?
- In the left menu, choose Schedule.
- Choose Month, Week or Day at the top right of the calendar.
- Use ‹ and › to move back and forward, and Today to jump back to today.
In the month view, choose any day to open it in the day view.
How do I show only some kinds of items?
Use the colored buttons under the calendar controls: Schedule, Catering and Travel. Choose one to hide those items; choose it again to show them. Hotel stays are grouped with Travel, and so is festival and event travel that is not tied to a day. Your choice is remembered in this browser.
How do I add something to the Schedule?
The Schedule calendar is built from your shows, so you add items in the show itself:
- Choose the show in the show list at the bottom of the left menu (or choose + Add item on the Schedule page, which takes you to the show you are on).
- In the show's Schedule section, use Build days… or + Add day to set up the on-site days, then + Add item for each run-of-show item.
Catering services you plan in Catering, and crew flights and shuttles you enter in Travel, appear here on their own. If no show is open and you have several, GigOps asks you to open a show first.
How do I open the show an item belongs to?
Choose the item on the calendar. GigOps opens that show and scrolls to its Schedule section, where you can edit it.
How do I print or export the schedule?
- Print PDF prints the calendar view you are looking at (use your browser's "Save as PDF" to keep a file).
- Export to Excel downloads every schedule item on the tour as a spreadsheet file (schedule.csv) that opens in Excel, with show, venue, date, day type, times, item, type, department, location, meal, status and notes.
If there are no schedule items yet, the export says so and downloads nothing.
Why is the Schedule empty?
The calendar only shows what is on the shows of the tour open in the top bar. "Nothing scheduled yet" means none of those shows has schedule items, catering or crew travel yet. Check you have the right tour open, and that the Schedule, Catering and Travel buttons are not all switched off.
Do crew see the schedule?
Yes. Crew see the schedule for the shows they work on the Schedule tab in GigOps Crew. When you add an item in a show, Visible to lets you limit it to certain departments; leave every box unticked to show it to all crew on the show.
