Dispatch
Dispatch is one live map of everyone moving for you right now: shuttle drivers from Transport and runners from Runners, as long as they are on shift. In the left menu, under Operations, choose Dispatch. It is a view only screen: you schedule shuttles in Transport and add errands in Runners.
Dispatch is in TourOps, FestivalOps, ActionOps and CoralOps (not VenueOps or PromoterOps). Company Admins and Company Users with the Manager, Ops or Coordinator role see it; Finance, Legal and View only seats do not unless a Company Admin turns it on for them.
How do I see all my drivers and runners on one map?
- In the left menu, choose Dispatch.
- Drivers show as blue dots and runners as green dots. The list On shift now beside the map names each one, with their current run or task and how long ago they last sent a location.
- Click All, Drivers or Runners to filter the map and the list.
The map updates by itself while it is open.
How do I find one driver or runner?
Click their dot on the map, or their name under On shift now. The map zooms to them and shows a card with their name, whether they are a driver or a runner, and:
- for a driver, the shuttle run they are on and their next stop with its time
- for a runner, the task they are on and its status
Why is nobody on the Dispatch map?
- Only people who are on shift appear. In GigOps Crew, a driver or runner taps Go on shift & share location on their Transport or Runner tab and allows location access on their phone.
- Someone who has not sent a location for about 15 minutes drops off the map.
- If the list says "Nobody on shift right now.", no one is currently sharing.
- If the map area shows a message instead of a map, Google Maps is not set up for your workspace. The On shift now list still works.
Why can't I see Dispatch?
Finance, Legal and View only seats do not see Dispatch by default. A Company Admin can turn it on per person in Users & access, using Access on that person's row (Dispatch can only be set to View, since there is nothing to edit). It is not part of VenueOps or PromoterOps.
