Clubs and teams

Clubs and teams holds the national squads, clubs and brand teams your athletes ride for, and the Team Manager seats that run them. In the left menu, under Competition, choose Clubs & teams. It is part of ActionOps only.

How do I add a club or team?

  1. In the left menu, under Competition, choose Clubs & teams.
  2. Choose Add club.
  3. Fill in Club / team name (required), Short code, Type (National squad, Club, Brand team, Independent or Team) and Country (3-letter).
  4. Pick a Colour. It marks the club's athletes across the app.
  5. Add the Contact name, Email, Phone and Notes.
  6. Choose Add club.

How do I edit or delete a club?

  1. In Clubs & teams, choose Open on the club's card.
  2. Change the details and choose Save, or choose Delete and confirm.

Deleting a club keeps its athletes on the event: they simply lose the club.

How do I put an athlete on a club?

  1. In the left menu, under Competition, choose Athletes.
  2. Open the athlete.
  3. Pick the club under Club / team and choose Save.

Each club card in Clubs & teams shows how many athletes it has.

What is a Team Manager seat?

A Team Manager is a paid seat for the person who runs one club, such as a national team coach or a brand's team manager. They sign in to GigOps and see only their own club: its roster, its athletes' comps and start positions, their travel, and their prize money. They can add their own athletes and invite them to GigOps Athlete. They see no budget, payroll, crew or other club.

How do I invite a Team Manager for a club?

  1. In Clubs & teams, choose Invite a Team Manager on the club's card.
  2. Enter their Email and an optional Note.
  3. Choose Send invite.

They get an invitation to join your company with the Team Manager seat for that club. Only Company Admins see the Invite a Team Manager button.

What does a Team Manager see when they sign in?

A Team Manager's left menu shows only Athletes, with their club's name next to the logo. The Athletes view has four tabs:

How does a Team Manager add athletes to their club?

  1. Sign in as the Team Manager and open Athletes, Roster tab.
  2. Choose Add athlete, fill in the form and choose Add athlete.
  3. Choose Send app invite on the athlete's card to send the GigOps Athlete link.

The athlete is added to the Team Manager's own club automatically.

How does a Team Manager ask for travel for an athlete?

  1. In Athletes, open the Travel tab.
  2. Choose Propose travel.
  3. Pick the Athlete and the Direction (Arriving or Leaving).
  4. Paste the airline's confirmation under Confirmation email (optional) and choose Read with AI to fill in the flight, or type the Date, Carrier, Flight, From, To, Departs and Arrives.
  5. Add a Note for the organiser if needed and choose Send request.

A confirmation with several legs sends each leg as its own request. Requests show as Waiting until the organiser books or declines them, and can be withdrawn while waiting.

How do I accept a Team Manager's travel request?

Requests from Team Managers appear at the top of the Travel view for the event. Choose Accept & book to book it, or Decline with an optional reason. The Team Manager sees the result on their Travel tab, and booked travel shows under Booked.

Why can't a Team Manager see the rest of the event?

A Team Manager seat is scoped to one club on purpose. Everything outside their club's roster, comps, travel and prize money is closed to them, including the budget, payroll, crew, other clubs and company settings. If they need more, invite them as a Company User with a different role instead.

Who can manage clubs?

Company Admins and Company Users with the Manager, Ops or Coordinator role can add, edit and delete clubs. Only Company Admins can invite a Team Manager. Finance, Legal and View only seats do not see Clubs & teams by default.
